A fourth unit, Energos Force, which has arrived and started commercial trials at Aqaba Port in Jordan, serving energy needs for both countries through the Arab Gas Pipeline with regasification capacity of 750 million cubic feet per day (mmcf/d).
Besides, Petroleum Marine Services (PMS) has completed development works at Damietta port to receive the Energos Winter unit with regasification capacity of 450 mmcf/d.
Badawi emphasized the strong governmental support from Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly in overseeing the preparation of regasification vessels, which has accelerated project progress and reflected Egypt’s deep commitment to all efforts in this project.
For his part, Regan noted that the achievements of the past four months have exceeded global expectations. He highlighted Egypt’s ability to build LNG import infrastructure in record time as an exceptional partnership model, praising Minister Karim Badawi’s frequent site visits, continuous follow-up on execution, and the full commitment demonstrated in this collaboration with Egypt.
