Badawi Celebrates National Petroleum Day at Alexandria Site

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi has celebrated the 49th National Petroleum Day with the workers at the petroleum geographical area in Alexandria at the Alexandria Petroleum Company’s working site, in the presence of the leaders of the petroleum sector.

Moataz Atef, Undersecretary for Technical Office and official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resource (MoPMR), explained that Badawi was keen to direct the resumption of the celebration events this year as part of the organized activities to enhance cohesion and direct communication with employees who represent the true wealth of the petroleum and mineral resources sector.

It is worth noting that National Petroleum Day is celebrated annually on November 17, commemorating the recovery of the Sinai oil fields in 1975—a significant milestone and one of the key achievements of the glorious October victories.
