Assiut Oil Refining Company (ASORC) signed a new development contract with Australian company WorleyParsons and another with French company Axens, Egypt Oil and Gas reported.
The first contract with WorleyParsons involves the management of naphtha reforming and isomerization in order to produce high-octane gasoline. The second contract with Axens revolves around business licenses, engineering designs, and the know-how of the diesel hydrocracking project.
Engineer Nagy Abdel Ghaffar, Chairman of ASORC, signed the contracts with Mr. Krish Iyer, WorleyParsons Executive Director, and Mr. Christian Vaute, Axens’s Executive Vice President.
