Aramco, LTHE Agreed on EPCI Deals

Saudi Aramco has awarded two engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI)  contracts to L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE), a fully owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), in consortium with EMAS Chiyoda Subsea, The Economic Times reported.

Under the terms of the deal, LTHE will supply and install four wellhead decks in the Safaniya field and complete upgrades on 17 platforms in various offshore fields in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Saudi Arabia, according to Business Standard. This came as the long term agreement between Aramco and LTHE in June 2016 has been very successful and the consortium is poised to remain a substantial service provider in the development of capabilities in Kingdom over the long term.
