Governor of Port Said, Adel Al-Ghadhban, discussed the executive steps for converting
gasoline-based cars to run on natural gas with representatives from Gastec, Car Gas, and Misr
Petroleum, according to Shorouk News.
Al-Ghadhban affirmed that the plan to convert cars to natural gas comes in line with the state’s
plan to develop fuel services provided to citizens. The Governor called for increasing the
capacity of natural gas stations to prevent the overcrowding in fuel stations.
Al-Ghadhban concluded by stressing the importance of the commencement of converting cars
to run on natural gas as soon as possible, which aligns with the state’s development plans and
benefits the citizen.
