ADNOC Logistics Receives 8 Jack-Up Barges

ADNOC Logistics and Services (ADNOC L&S) has  received eight self-propelled jack-up barges (JUBs) through its subsidiary Zakher Marine International (ZMI) Holdings, WAM reported .

After this transaction, the number of JUBs owned and operated by ADNOC L&S has increased by 25% from 31 to 39

This expansion boosts the Company’s status as the owner and operator of one of the largest fleets of JUBs in the GCC region. 

These JUBs include the purchase of two newbuild and four second-hand ones, in addition to chartering two newbuild JUBs. One of the barges will serve the Iraqi market which is a new market forADNOC L&S to enter,  supporting its regional expansion.

These multi-functional JUBs are designed to provide a range of well services, such as operations, maintenance and accommodation at offshore fields.
