On the sidelines of the World Government Summit in the UAE, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi held a bilateral meeting with Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the UAE and CEO of ADNOC Group.

The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of securing natural gas supplies, in addition to reviewing the investment opportunities available in the natural gas exploration and research sector in Egypt, in which ADNOC can pump investments as part of its expansion plans in Egypt.

The two sides also discussed the latest developments regarding Arcius energy, the joint entity between ADNOC and BP, which is set to launch its operations in Egypt soon.
