Petroshahd Pipeline: In Simplicity Lies Perfection

For this month, Egypt Oil and Gas Newspaper had the privilege of visiting one of the most ideal concessions in the region, the East Ras Qattara Concession (ERQ). Eng.Gamal Shanhory, Field Manager, showed us around so that we would get to understand how Enap Sipetrol (Petroshahd joined Venture) managed to implement an infrastructure that is cost efficient but yet extremely productive and massively successful.

Revitalizing a Brownfield: Kuwait Energy’s Area A

This month Egypt Oil & Gas had the opportunity to visit Kuwait Energy's Area A concession located in the Eastern Desert. Accompanied by President of Kuwait Energy Egypt Harry Saul and Vice President of Operations Kamel Al-Sawi, we had the pleasure of touring a portion of Area A's Shukheir field along with Gamal Afifi the Assistant Field Superintendent, Hamid Fathy the HSSE Manager and Eng. Amr Abd Elrahman.

Sipetrol’s East Ras Qattara Concession

This month Egypt Oil and Gas had the pleasure of visiting Sipetrol International's record-breaking East Ras Qattara (ERQ) concession. Egypt Oil and Gas met with Sipetrol's Eng. Sayed Rezk, General Manager of PetroShahd (Sipetrol's joint venture) to discuss the history and recent successes of the concession. Egypt Oil and Gas also met with Sipetrol's Mohamed Ismael, Senior Reservoir Engineer and Gamal Shanhory, Field Manager, in order to discuss the developmental aspects of the East Ras Qattara concession.

Visiting Suez Oil Company

In keeping with our policy of always aspiring to bring the sector's most pressing issues to the surface and report the news from the ground, Egypt Oil & Gas was invited by Eng. Nabil Ali Zaki, Chairman of Suez Oil Company's (SUCO,) to visit two of the company's development concessions, namely Zeit Bay and Ras Budran, which are located in the Eastern Desert and the Sinai Peninsula respectively.

PetroSennan’s Alam El -Shawish Concession

After years of reporting news from concessions and covering companies’ activities, EOG has thought of inviting our esteemed readers to a free virtual tour of the Egyptian concessions. EOG made its first concession trip to PetroSennan's area in the Alam El-Shawish East Concession, which covers about 994 square kilometers in the Western Desert. The new comer to the hydrocarbon industry is believed to have a promising future in Egypt's petroleum industry.
