The total production of oil and natural gas reached 6.8 million tons during April 2019, compared to 6.1 million tons during the same month in 2018.
Egypt’s electricity consumption decreased by 2.59%, recording 11.3 megawatts per hour (MWh) in February 2019, compared to 11.6 MWh in February 2018.

The increase is directly linked to the boost in production from the second phase of North Alexandria project and from Zohr field.
The factory will be producing 10,000 tons per year of automotive lubricants, covering the company's expansion plans across the country.
