The United Arab Emirates (UAE) renewed its commitment to the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) agreement on limiting production and said it would boost its own curbs.
Iran announced that it is ready to join the OPEC oil production cuts despite being exempted from the initial production cuts agreement, which allowed it to boost its crude output to about 4m barrels.
Qatar Petroleum and Kuwait Petroleum Corp (KPC) will reduce production levels from the beginning of 2017, following the recent decisions by OPEC and non-OPEC oil-producing countries to cap output.
