PNG, Total Sings Fiscal Agreement for LNG Project

The Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea (PNG), James Marape, announced that the government signed a fiscal agreement with Total company, to develop a liquefied natural gas (LNG) project at a cost of $13 million.

Australia's Woodside Petroleum has withdrawn its $8.5b (A$11.6b) all-share offer for Papua New Guinea-based Oil Search Ltd's stake in the PNG's government's LNG project, as Oil Search rejected the bid.
