While Nigeria has been struggling to recover from the militant attacks that affected its crude oil productions and exports, the US crude oil exports emerged into markets that Nigeria used to dominate.
Iraq’s March production has been reduced by more than its share of 210,000b/d from its southern fields, while northern production has been reduced by around 30,000-40,000b/d so far in March from February.
Non-OPEC producer Oman has notified its term customers in Asia that it will reduce supplies by 15% from June to meet local demand and as part of its commitment to cut output under a producers' agreement.
Iran says it expects to increase exports of crude oil to Europe to as high as 800,000b/d by May. The country currently supplies Europe with 500,000b/d of crude oil.
Kuwait crude oil exports to Japan increased by 33.7% during September, when compared to volumes from the same period during 2015. It reached 6.83mb of oil, averaging 228,000b/d.
