EETC Signs $200-MM Energy Agreement for Aswan Solar Station

The Egyptian Prime Minister, Moustafa Madbouly, witnessed the signing of an agreement to purchase energy for a solar power generation project under a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) system, with a capacity of 200 megawatts (MW), in Kom Ombo, Aswan, worth nearly $200 million.

Iraq to Sign Energy Agreement with ExxonMobil, PetroChina

Iraq is expected to sign a $53 billion energy agreement with ExxonMobil and PetroChina. The Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi denied any link between the mega-project and the US permission for Iraq to do business with Iran.
