Egypt-Cyprus Gas Pipeline to Cost up to $1B

Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Tarek El Molla has said that the proposed pipeline between Cyprus’s Aphrodite gas field and Egypt’s liquefied natural gas facilities will cost between $800 million and $1 billion.

El Molla to Talk Gas Imports with Cyprus
Thursday, 25th August 2016
Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, is scheduled to visit Cyprus late August, in order to sign an agreement with the Energy Minister, Yiorgos Lakkotrypis, to enable importation of gas from Cyprus.
