Tanzania, Zambia to Negotiate Oil, Gas Pipeline

Tanzania and Zambia are to negotiate a new deal for transport of refined oil and natural gas. The talks will center around either modernizing the existing 1,710km Tazama pipeline or building a parallel pipeline for gas. -
Nigeria Navy Destroys Illegal Oil Refineries

The Nigerian Navy has destroyed 48 illegal oil refineries, 8,000 metric tons of stolen oil, and 200 metric tons of refined gasoline (diesel), in a recently conducted operation in the Niger-Delta territory. -
Turkey warns Lebanon, Egypt against oil exploration deal with Cyprus

Turkey warned Lebanon and Egypt not to activate their oil and gas exploration deals signed with Cyprus, claiming that Turkey and Turkish Cypriots also had rights in the region.
