Petrobras announces the start of production at the Lucius field today. The field is located approximately 236 miles (380 km) southwest of Port Fourchon, Louisiana, in water depths of 7,086 feet (2,160 m). -
Enbridge to Build Oil Pipeline for Deepwater Gulf of Mexico Development

Enbridge Inc. (ENB.TO) (ENB), announced today that it will build, own and operate a crude oil pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico to connect the planned Stampede development, operated by Hess Corporation, to an existing third-party pipeline system. -

West Delta Deep Marine Phase 8a Enters Operations

BG Egypt today announced the start of gas production on 17 October 2011 from the Phase 8a Deepwater Development Project. The Project is within the West Delta Deep Marine Concession (BG Group 50%, PETRONAS 50%) located approximately 90 kilometres offshore the Nile Delta.
