Egypt’s Butane Imports Increase by 21.76% Y.o.Y

Egypt’s butane imports increased by around 21.76% Year-on-Year (Y.o.Y), reaching 235,600 tons in December 2017 compared to 193,500 tons in December 2016.

Egyptian Petroleum Products Output Increases by 1.5% Y.o.Y

Egypt’s output of petroleum products increased by around 1.5% Year-on-Year (Y.o.Y) from 2.77 million tons in December 2016 to 2.811 million tons in December 2017.

Egyptian Natural Gas Output Increases by 23.9% Y.o.Y

Egypt’s natural gas production increased by around 23.9% year-on-year (Y.o.Y) reaching 3.453 million tons in December 2017, compared to 2.787 million tons in December 2016.

Electricity Production, Consumption Decrease

Egypt’s electricity generation fell by 7.6% to 15.8 kWh in October 2017, from the 17.1 kWh produced in September 2017.

Diesel Output Fell by 7.8% Y.o.Y

Egypt’s diesel production decreased by around 7.8% year-on-year (Y.o.Y) to 544,000 tons in November 2017, compared to 590,000 tons in November 2016.

Petroleum Exports, Imports Value Decrease Y.o.Y

Egypt’s oil exports value decreased by 10% year-on-year (Y.o.Y) to reach $208 million in October 2017, compared to $231 million in October 2016.

Egypt’s Butane Imports declined by 11.45%

Egypt’s butane imports fell by around 11.45% year-on-year (Y.o.Y) to record 193,300 tons in November 2017, compared to 218,300 tons in November 2016.

Egypt’s Consumption of Petroleum Products Decreases by 4.4% Y.o.Y

Consumption of petroleum products declined by 4.4% Year-on-Year (Y.o.Y), from 3 million tons in November 2016 to 2.877 million tons in November 2017.

Egypt’s Natural Gas Production Increases by 14% Y.o.Y

The Egyptian natural gas production increased by around 14.11% year-on-year (Y.o.Y.), rising to 3.12 million tons in November 2017, compared to 2.734 million tons in November 2016.

Electricity Exports Reach 747 GWH in 2015/2016

Egypt’s electricity exports reached 747 GWH during FY 2015/2016, while electricity imports recorded 54 GWH in the same FY, declining by 69.8% from the 179 GWH imports in 2002/2003.
