Methanex Egypt Completes Pipeline Construction for Methanol Delivery to SMD Plant in Damietta Region

Methanex Egypt has completed the construction of a 450-meter pipeline and installed a transfer pump to deliver methanol directly to the nearby Suez Methanol Derivatives (SMD) plant in Damietta. This project, which started in April 2023, also includes maintenance services and the supply of up to 160 tons of methanol per day under their agreement.
