Snam SpA Expects Egypt to Resume Gas Exports

EGAS Launched 3rd Regasification Vessel Tender

Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) will submit a global tender for renting a third floating and storage regasification unit (FSRU) with the capacity of 750mcf/d. The vessel will boost the gas import capacity to 1.95bcf/d, from the current capacity of 1.2bcf/d.

EETC to Collect 3rd Aswan Solar Energy Installment

The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) has addressed the solar energy companies’ investors in Aswan to pay the third installment of the EGP 10m cost-sharing agreement that links the solar power plants with the national electricity grid, before the beginning of July 2016.

Egypt Receives $650m Fuel Shipments from Saudi Arabia

As part of the five-year agreement that Egypt has with Saudi Arabia to contribute in supplying the country’s fuel needs, Egypt has received shipments of petroleum products worth approximately $650m in May and June 2016 from it Saudi Arabian counterparts. The shipment includes benzene, diesel, and mazut products.
