ExxonMobil Expands Gas Exploration in Egypt with New Concession West of Zohr Field
ExxonMobil has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) to expand the former's natural gas exploration activities in the Mediterranean Sea, marking a new chapter in the company’s partnership with Egypt. The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the ADIPEC 2025 conference in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi, and John Ardill, ExxonMobil’s Vice President of Global Exploration.
