The World Bank is willing to support Egypt’s project to become a regional energy hub by funding infrastructure and providing technical support, the organization’s Executive Director Merza Hussain Hasan told the country’s oil ministry on Monday, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
Hasan visited Cairo to discuss how the World Bank can support Egypt in becoming a regional energy hub.
The visit comes a few days after El Molla’s meeting with the World Bank’s senior vice president, Mahmoud Mohieldin, during his visit to Washington DC, Egypt Oil & Gas reported.
