Wintershall Dea’s Average Production Increases to 323,000 boe/d in 2023

Wintershall Dea has announced that its average daily production has increased 1% to 323,000 barrels of oil equivalent (boe/d) during the fiscal year (FY) 2023.

The company elaborated that this is slightly below expectations due to unplanned maintenance in partner operated fields and third-party facilities in Norway, as well as Dvalin commissioning.

The company’s average daily production during the FY 2022 was 321,000 boe/d. The company added that its average production during Q4 of 2023 has reached 329,000 boe/d which is higher by 2% than Q4 of 2022 that amounted to 323,000 boe/d.

Wintershall Dea declared also that its EBITDAX reached EUR 4.2 billion which is 29% lower year on year (YoY) amid the lower commodity price environment.

Regarding its current developments in Egypt, the company noted that a Final Investment Decision (FID) has been reached for Raven West development (West Nile Delta) and its start-up will commence during Q2 2025.
