Venezuela Receives Its Second Iranian-Built Tanker.

In the presence of the presidents of Iran and Venezuela, SADRA (Iran Marine Industrial Company) handed over the second Aframax tanker built by the company.

Iranian and Venezuelan presidents were connected via video conference to the deck of the ship in the Persian Gulf on Saturday (June 11) and informed about the construction and operation of the tanker, according to the presidential website.

The directors of SADRA Company and their Venezuelan counterparts also signed the delivery documents of the Aframax tanker.

The tanker is Venezuela’s second order to Iran in recent years. Iran will provide two more tankers to the Latin American country, according to the agreed pact.

The Aframax tanker is 250 meters long, 44 meters wide, 21 meters high, 14.8 meters of hull, and can carry 800,000 barrels of oil at a speed of 15 knots.
