Chairman of Town Gas, Eng. Yasser Bahnas, told Egypt Oil&Gas that the company has provided gas to 3.2m housing units, which is in excess of 35% of the national plan to deliver gas to homes issued in 2015 under the Presidential recommendations.

Bahnas stated: “Town Gas has provided 3.2m customers with gas to date, out of 7.7m customers all over the country since its establishment in 1981, which equals 41% of the total gas delivery to homes in Egypt.”

He also pointed out that all of the working companies in the Egyptian oil sector, especially the ones  specialized in natural gas deliveries to homes are committed to  the implementation stages of the national plan for delivering  natural gas to all of the Egyptian governorates.

Bahnas further noted that the work is ongoing to deliver gas to floating barges at the Nile Corniche for the first time that would also contribute to deliver gas  to stations for car supply, all power plants, factories, and commercial establishments.
