Tharwa Breda Petroleum Services Company (TBPSCO) announced that it has produced 222 wellheads during 2021, achieving an increase in its revenues by 53% compared to 2020.
This announcement took place during the general assembly meeting of the company to approve its annual operational results for 2021.
The company stated that the most significant operations during 2021 were the development of wellheads units and petroleum valves production based on the American Petroleum Institute standards (API6A – API6D).
Osama Sabry, the chairman of TBPSCO, emphasized the role of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in supporting his company to cope with the current developments and confront the latest challenges, including COVID-19 and the high prices of the materials.
He showcased the expansion plans of TBPSCO inside Egypt and abroad especially in Libya, Kuwait and UAE. Sabry also highlighted the company’s commitment to digitalizing its operations using SAP’s system.
In the meantime, he noted that the company is working on expanding its factory in Badr City from 5,000 square meters to 7,500 square meters in the future.
The chairman said that the company is seeking to expand its business to provide technical services outside of Egypt and to add the production of ball valves to its activities. This is besides the expansion of maintenance, engineering inspections, and repairing pipeline valves and production units according to international standards which enabled it to establish an integrated service center at the Amreya Petroleum Refining Company (APRC) headquarters in Alexandria.
The meeting was attended by Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) Chairman Magdy Galal and Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) Chairman Alaa El Batal.
