A press release to Egypt Oil&Gas stated that Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, is participating in the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention, in the presence of more than 65 participated countries and 30,000 attendees from the world’s largest mining companies.
El Molla also took part as a key note speaker in the session organized by Mine Africa. He presented the mining investment opportunities in Egypt within the framework of Egypt’s new vision to encourage the private mining sector to invest in Egypt after issuing the new law of the mineral resources and its regulations.
El Molla also checked the pavilion of the Egyptian Mineral Resources General Authority to promote investment opportunities in the mining sector, including the global bid of gold raised in the beginning of 2017 and to invite international companies to participate in this promising industry.
The Ministry also checked pavilions of some developed countries in the field of mining to explore the new tools of promoting and marketing investment opportunities, including Canada as one of the world’s largest countries in the field of mining.
The press release added that Canadian companies control around 65% of the global mining investments .
