The Board of Shell declared dividend payments in pounds sterling and euros for the interim dividend for the fourth quarter of 2022, which was announced on February 2, 2023 at US$0.2875 per ordinary share.

Shareholders have been able to elect to receive their dividends in US dollars, euros or pounds sterling. Holders of ordinary shares who have validly submitted US dollars, euros or pounds sterling currency elections by March 3, 2023 will be entitled to a dividend of US$0.2875, €0.2716 or 24.11p per ordinary share, respectively.

Persons who hold their ordinary shares through Euroclear Nederland will get their dividends in euros at the euro rate per ordinary share given above, barring any legally valid election to the contrary. Barring a legally binding election to the contrary, dividend payments shall be made in pounds sterling at the above-mentioned rate per ordinary share to shareholders who hold their shares in both certificated and uncertificated form (CREST members) and through Shell Corporate Nominee.

US dollars have been converted to euro and pounds sterling dividends payable in cash depending on an average market exchange rates over the three dealing days from March 8 to March 10, 2023. Those members whose names were on the Register of Members on February 17, 2023 will receive those dividends on March 27, 2023.
