Suez Canal Zone Authority Zone (SCZONE) Chairman Waleid Gamal El-Dein has signed an agreement with Japan’s Toyota Tsusho to establish several Japanese projects within the zone.

The agreement includes establishing new infrastructure projects and developments related to achieving carbon neutrality. The developments involve logistics, renewable energy and water, green and blue hydrogen production as well as green and blue ammonia production.

According to the agreement, feasibility studies will be prepared to maximize the benefits of this cooperation initiative for the two parties.
