Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Saudi Energy Minister, announced on December 25 that the Kingdom would soon commence a new project at the Dorra offshore gas field, Saudi newspaper Eqtisadiah reported, according to Reuters.
The energy minister’s declaration was made a day after Saudi Arabia and Kuwait resolved the Neutral Zone dispute.
The minister pointed out that two companies from both Saudi Arabia and Kuwait had the ability to complete the project, adding that the area has a promising large quantity of natural gas.
