The Saudi Oil Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, discussed with the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, energy cooperation to stabilize the global energy market, Saudi state news agency (SPA) reported, according to Zawya.
Prince bin Salman discussed with Russia’s Maxim Oreshkin “the role of the two countries in the stability of global markets through continuous coordination in this area where both sides praised the results achieved by the OPEC agreement, which helps to stabilize the oil market and the future of petroleum industries.”
Earlier, the Saudi minister met with his Russian counterpart Alexander Novak at the Russian Energy Week summit in Moscow to discuss ways to bring “perpetual stability” to the global oil markets. Both ministers emphasized the importance of cooperation to stabilize supply and prices, in line of the OPEC agreement.
