Saipem has been awarded extension of two significant onshore drilling contracts in Saudi Arabia for a period of five and ten years, respectively, as well as a new four-year contract in Colombia, according to Saipem’s press release.

Saipem’s onshore drilling division has received orders worth more than $250 million since the start of 2021. It strengthens its long-standing and solid relationships with some of its important customers with these acquisitions.

It is worth noting that these contracts extensions are a good indication that operations are gradually resuming after the Covid-19 pandemic.
