Romania is interested to invite Egyptian oil and gas companies to work in Romania and benefit from the experience of Romanian companies, said Ştefan-Radu Oprea, Minister of Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
Oprea expressed the Romanian support to enhance cooperation with Egypt in different economic fields. The minister’s comments came during his meeting with Egyptian Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, the Romanian Ambassador, and accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, heads of Romanian companies presented their activities and discussed the opportunities available in the Egyptian markets.
Moreover, heads of Egyptian firms reviewed available opportunities as well as the possibilities to promote cooperation between companies of the two countries.
El Molla pointed out the importance of boosting cooperation between Egypt and Romania in different oil and gas fields, especially as Romania chairs the current round of the European Union (EU) and Egypt chairs the current round of African Union (AU).
