Rockhopper Exploration PLC announced that production from the Abu Sennan field averaged 3,300 barrels per day of oil equivalent (BOE/D) during the first half of 2017, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
It also stated that the company’s outstanding receivables balance for Egypt fell in July.
“We are pleased with the overall progress in Egypt and, in particular, with the continuing reduction in our receivables balance,” Rockhopper’s CEO, Sam Moody, said.
The UK-based firm owns a 22% stake of the Abu Sennan field.
Rockhopper is UK-based oil and gas company that operates in the North Falkland Basin and the greater Mediterranean region.
