Reham Mohamed Sayed Appointed Chairman of Alexandria Petroleum Company

As part of recognizing the vital role of women as partners in developing the petroleum industry, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi appointed Reham Mohamed Sayed as Chairman of Alexandria Petroleum Company, effective November 21, 2024.

Reham holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Alexandria University, where she worked as a teaching assistant for two years. She later joined Amreya Petroleum Refining Company, working at the Alkyl Gasoline Complex.

In 2019, she was appointed General Manager of Production and became a member of the board of directors. Reham also served as Assistant for Production at the Egyptian Linear Alkyl Benzene Company (ELAB).

Throughout her career, Reham supervised numerous projects and programs, including the implementation of ERP systems for production, the linear programming system, a digital measuring system for warehouses, and the integration of the SCADA system. She also oversaw the renewal and replacement of pipelines and warehouses.
