Qatar to Pay $4.23B for Stake in Russia’s Rosneft

The Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) sovereign wealth fund will pay roughly $4.23 billion for a half of a 14.16% stake in Rosneft, the Russian oil giant announced on November 6, according to Reuters.

The QIA will become Rosneft’s third largest stakeholder behind the Russian government and British oil major BP.
