Prime Minister Highlights Efforts of Unified Gov’t Complaints System

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met with members of the Unified Government Complaints System at the Cabinet, in the presence of Osama Saad, Secretary-General of the Cabinet, and Tarek El Refai, Director of the System.

The Prime Minister began the meeting by welcoming the members of the Unified Government Complaints System, highlighting that they represent a great addition to the Cabinet’s work team. Madbouly added “With your efforts and dedication, the system has become an effective part in solving citizens’ problems across the country.”

Madbouly pointed out that this meeting comes within the framework of expressing thanks first for the efforts of the system members in monitoring, receiving and dealing with citizens’ complaints from all regions of the country.

The prime minister clarified an important point, which is that the matter is not limited to receiving complaints, but more importantly, following up on them and working to overcome and resolve them, which is what establishes the credibility that we receive when the citizen feels that his complaint is constantly being followed up on.

Madbouly assured attendees that in the event of negligence by an official within an authority, ministry, governorate, or any entity in dealing with citizens’ complaints, the necessary measures must be taken and dealt with firmly, in order to maintain the positive image of the system.
