President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has received Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, who presented the government‘s resignation to the President on June 3rd.
El Sisi assigned Madbouly with the task of forming a new government with distinguished competencies, experiences, and capabilities, which will work to achieve a number of goals. These goals include protecting Egyptian national security in light of regional and international challenges, prioritizing building the Egyptian human cadres especially in the fields of health and education, and continuing efforts to develop political participation.
El Sisi’s directives for the newly formed government to focus on continuing the path of economic reform, focusing on increasing local and foreign investments, and encouraging the growth of the private sector.
