The Petroleum Marine Services (PMS) has held a workshop marking the completion of an important phase in its strategic project for developing its skilled human capabilities.
The project is in line with the strategy of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) to raise the efficiency of human capabilities.
This project was launched in 2023 in cooperation with Enppi company by evaluating more than 110 employees who are working in project management and technical and services support. The first phase was completed by developing a group of 37 engineers from project management teams in strategic management and developing leadership and management competencies.
Attended by the Chairman of PMS Amr Badawy and the Chairman of Enppi Wael Lotfy, the workshop included a series of presentations and discussions by five groups of trainees who presented a set of projects that reflect what they have learned and are in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
During the event, the two chairmen honored the winning group for the most distinguished project and the company’s engineers who passed the training program.
They reviewed the next stages of completing the development process and implementing the Succession Plan.
Badawy emphasized the great importance that the company attaches to developing human cadres and setting it as a priority to achieve better growth, pointing out the continuous endeavors of PMS to create new leadership capabilities that contribute to the decision-making process and adopt innovative ideas for sustainable development.
