PM Reviews MoPMR’s Progress in Resolving Citizens’ Complaints

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has reviewed the achievements of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) in managing and resolving the complaints of citizens during November 2023.

The Director of the Cabinet’s Unified Governmental Complaints System Tarek El Rifai explained in a report, reviewed by Madbouly, that the MoPMR has received and dealt with 2,229 complaints concerning the installation, maintenance and cut-offs of  natural gas and the availability of some petroleum products.  

He added that petroleum companies and the MoPMR have successfully dealt with these complaints. El Rifai noted that there are 1,879 complaints that have been resolved,  including 692 urgent cases, most of them related to natural gas connections.
