As part of the petroleum sector’s digitalization strategy, PetroTrade has provided new electronic machines to facilitate all natural gas services which will be available all over the country.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the new machines will be available at all fuel stations such as Gastec, Cargas and Chillout, in addition to some shopping malls and clubs as well as Ain Shams University.
Waseem Wahdan, the chairman of PetroTrade, said that the first phase will involve 15 electronic machines and that they are choosing the best locations for installing them to cover the entire geographic working area of the company to implement all required services 24/7 without being stopped.
The services that are provided by the machine include charging the card of prepaid meters as well as paying the bills of the traditional meters, facilitating invoice inquiries, recording the meter reading, and registering a complaint.
Wahdan added that the second phase will be announced soon and will involve a trouble-free process of getting a new card to replace one that might have been lost or damaged. The replacements can be delivered to customers through cooperation with delivery companies.
