The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, has met with the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Khaled Al-Anani and Minister of Civil Aviation, Mohamed Manar, to discuss ways to boost tourism and aviation sectors, according to a press release.
During the meeting, the three ministers discussed a number of new proposals and initiatives to support aviation incentive program. El Molla stated that the meeting comes within the framework of the state’s efforts to support sectors that were affected by the pandemic. He added that there are continuous coordination and full cooperation between the three ministries.
For his part, Al-Anani showcased the procedures and incentives presented by the state to help the tourism sector combat the consequences of COVID-19. He appreciated the move by the petroleum ministry to reduce jet fuel prices for flights destined to the Red Sea, South Sinai, Luxor and Aswan which was applied in May.
Additionally, Manar praised the efforts and support offered by the petroleum ministry to the aviation sector and its success in providing fuels to Egypt’s different airports.
