Egypt’s consumption of petroleum products decreased by around 8.3% year-on-year (YOY) in January 2019 to 2.649 million tons, compared to 2.896 million tons in the same month last year, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
Data published by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) showed that petroleum product’s production slightly grew by 1.39% from 2.805 million tons in January 2018 to 2.844 million tons in January 2019.
Egypt’s consumption of petroleum products increased by around 2.04% month-on-month, down from the 2.596 million tons in December 2018.
