Petroleum Air Services and the Egyptian Aviation Academy signed a contract to establish a training center for helicopter pilots for the first time in Egypt and the Middle East.

This center is the first of its kind in Egypt and will lead cost reduction, besides saving time and effort to prepare Egyptian candidates capable of joining the petroleum sector system by training new pilots of Petroleum air services in Egypt at the Academy instead of sending them abroad, as well as leading to save hard currency and adding a new source of income from hard currency by enrolling students from different nationalities at the Academy. The contract was signed by Ehab Abdel Maksoud, Petroleum Air Services, and Ezzat Metwally, Egyptian Aviation Academy CEO.
