Petrojet and Siemens have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to cooperate in the fields of petroleum, infrastructure, utilities, and water in the Egyptian market.
The two companies are going to implement projects of mutual concern in these sectors which come in line with the digitalization strategy adopted by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
According to the MoU, Siemens will provide the latest technological solutions in digitalization, automation, and energy management in addition to technical training.
Petrojet will provide its resources, equipment, and assets to implement these projects which will contribute to developing and enhancing the petroleum sector.
On this occasion, Siemens Egypt CEO Mostafa El-Bagoury, said: “We are proud of our cooperation with Petrojet, and we seek together to support the vision of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in Egypt, which aims to digitalize the sectors of petroleum, infrastructure, utilities, tunnels and water and improve their capabilities, by relying on Siemens smart solutions portfolio, which focuses on the areas of digital transformation, automation and energy management.
