Egypt’s Petrojet signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Russia’s JSC RPA CNIITMASH to cooperate in establishing nuclear projects in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Al Mal News reported.
The MoU was signed by Moataz Khalil, Petrojet’s Chairman Assistant for Business Development; and Viktor Orlov, CNIITMASH’s General Director.
According to the MoU, related parties will have commercial cooperation in order to support Petrojet in the nuclear energy projects, which are based on Russian design and quality standards.
The two parties are currently negotiating if CNIITMASH will prepare documents and required approvals for operations, tools, training, and equipment.
