The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced that Petrojet has finalized the installation of the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) for the Cairo Metro Line 4 project.
This progress was hailed by the official page of German tunnels operators in the Arab world which expressed its appreciation to Petrojet and Herrenknecht for completing this mission.
The machine will start drilling the tunnel of the first phase of the Line 4 at a distance of 13.5 km. It should be noted that the Metro Line 4 will connect 6th October city with the new Cairo.
