Ostool Transport, Master Gas Sign CNG Agreement

Ostool Transport has signed a cooperation protocol to transport compressed natural gas (CNG) for Master Gas, a subsidiary of TAQA Arabia, Shorouk News reported.

The agreement allows CNG to become available in remote areas that lack natural gas stations.  Per the statement, the project is scheduled to start in early 2022.

Tamer Badrawi, CEO of Ostool Transport, stated that this agreement represents a positive step in terms of enhancing Ostool’s contributions in the field of fuel transportation in all its forms.

For his part, Tarek El-Hawary, Managing Director at TAQA Gas Group, added that Master Gas plans to construct 30 new natural gas stations across Egypt in 2021, with investments exceeding EGP 500 million. This comes as part of the company’s plan to reach 200 stations by 2023.
