Oman’s LNG Reserves Record Increase by 7% in 2022

The annual report issued by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals that Oman’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) reserves reached to 24 trillion cubic feet (tcf) in 2022 recording increase by 7% compared to the corresponding period of 2021, according to Times of Oman.

According to the report, Oman oil production increased during the year 2022, with an average daily production of 1.64 million barrels (mmbl), compared to 971,000 in 2021, achieving increase of 9.6%, as the country kept same production levels of oil, in line with the production reduction agreement signed with the countries.
