Oman Standard Petrol Production Declines 25% in January

The production of standard grade petrol (M-91) by Omani refineries has declined by 25% by the end of January, down to 1.04 billion barrels compared to 1.39 billion barrels January 2019, the data released from the Omani National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) demonstrated according to, Times of Oman .

Super grade petrol (M-95) production reached 1.28 billion barrels in the same period, while the production of diesel fell down to 2.34 billion barrel.

Aviation fuel production decreased to 1.36 billion barrels in the same period, in addition to the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production which reached 623.3 million barrels.

For the petrochemicals, production of polypropylene by Orpic in January 2020 was 14,900 metric tons, while paraxylene and benzene productions were 52,100 metric tons and 15,700 metric tons, respectively.
