The oil and gas sector will witness many remarkable events in the upcoming period, including the following.

The Mediterranean Offshore Conference (MOC) from October 15-17 in Alexandria, Egypt. MOC is considered the only official event of the Egyptian Petroleum Sector under the patronage of Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, under the theme ‘Egypt: Connecting the Two Shores of the Mediterranean.’

The Upstream Technical Convention from December 8-10 in Cairo, Egypt, under the theme ‘Improving Brownfields Performance.’  The Convention focuses mainly on sharing best practices for optimizing operations, improving HSE, and increasing oil and gas production. Holding the Upstream Convention helps highlight the progress in the upstream pillar, featuring effective technologies in Exploration and Production (E&P), as well as enhancing opportunities for young professionals. The convention aims to attract government officials, high-level executives from international oil companies (IOCs), national oil companies (NOCs), and service companies, in addition to high-level managers and young professionals.

The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) from November 11-14 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. ADIPEC is one of the most influential events, providing the global oil and gas sector with an extensive showcase of technology. The conference will host 25 country pavilions, 36 NOCs, and IOCs.

Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS) will be held from February 11-13, 2020 in Cairo, Egypt. In its fourth edition, EGYPS will be the most influential annual oil and gas platform in North Africa and the Mediterranean with expectations to host 450 exhibiting companies, over 1,300 conference delegates and to attract 25,000 trade professionals from the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas value chain. NOCs, IOCs, international service providers, EPC contractors, and consultants will gather over 3 days to meet face-to-face and do business.
